Under the direction of the Recreation Division Director, the Assistant Recreation Division Director is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and directing all activities of the Recreation Division. Key responsibilities include administering and implementing division programs; developing goals, objectives, marketing plan and supporting procedures; and ensuring their successful execution. The role also involves preparing and managing budgets, coordinating division activities with other District divisions and external agencies, and providing administrative support to the Division Director and Executive Director.This position has significant discretion and is distinguished from the Recreation General Manager by its broader responsibility for overseeing all recreation program
