The School of Professional Studies is looking for Associate Director, Programs to oversee administrative aspects of graduate, custom and continuing education programs in the Center for Publishing, Writing, and Media (PWM) which include syllabi review, delivery formats, Global Field Intensives, course scheduling, student and faculty support and department events. Support new and existing custom programs as well as Global Field Intensives for PWM. Oversee social media strategy and calendar for the unit, with special emphasis on graduate programs, making sure that program posts support the mission and integrity of the designated social media plan.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years Related experience or equivalent combination. Must include professional experience in program development and administration, working closely with instructional staff, marketing programs, and budget administration.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to plan, develop, and implement innovative academic programs and strategies to attract and retain students. Proven ability to successfully manage the administration of an academic program or custom program. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to evaluate programs and instructional staff. Familiarity with educational and social media technologies, including online learning. Valid passport required. Must be able to travel to both domestic and international locations.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $89,274.00 to USD $109,274.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
