Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is searching for a new Center Supervisor II to oversee the Babette Horenstein Tennis Center, the upcoming pickleball facility, and manage the sports events calendar at the HMT Complex.
A successful applicant will have experience related to planning, organizing, leading and delivering sport events. Their areas of responsibility can be very broad or very specific depending on factors like the size of the sport event. They will have worked with professional contracts from inception to launch of events.
Examples of similar roles that would be successful in this position include Athletic Complex Manager or Supervisor, Sport Travel Manager, Sports Tourism, Sports Event Hospitality Manager and more!
The tentative schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.The schedule may vary and require working early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and/or weekend hours to meet operational needs.

Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that would likely provide the applicant with the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A bachelor’s degree, with a major in parks and recreation or a related field, or equivalent work-life experience and a minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in recreational management or a related field, a minimum of three years of experience in management or as an expert individual contributor responsible for leading employees and projects.
