POSITION: Chief Sales Officer, Lafayette Convention & Visitors Commission STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) provides leadership, direction, and resources to the sales department and is accountable for the overall sales department performance, the achievement of sales department goals and targets, and the alignment of the CVB’s sales strategy. This position oversees all sales activities in the Group Tourism, Convention & Sports sides of the business. The CSO directly manages a staff of 5-6 employees, including the Senior Sales Director, the Vice President of Tourism Sales, Director of Sports Business Development and Visitor Center Manager.
