The Director of Sports Development will perform sales and marketing duties to promote Medford and the Rogue Valley as a premier destination by attracting, developing, soliciting and supporting sporting events, activities and programs that strengthen the economic impact of the region through overnight visitation. This position will also oversee and manage the Southern Oregon Sports Commission and implement and execute the strategies to achieve its mission of enhancing the sports tourism market through the initiatives of sports advocacy, event procurement and venue development.
