Overview
The Schack Institute of Real Estate in the School of Professional Studies is seeking an Associate Director, Continuing Education Programs who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the department and its continuing education offerings including development, staffing and delivery of courses and student services, certificates, corporate and executive education programs, and other related academic offerings; making recommendations to the associate dean and academic director for adjunct faculty hiring; budget oversight; and, supervision of staff. In addition, the Associate Director works with adjunct faculty coordinators onlong-term strategy for the continuing education programs, including the development of new academic offerings in collaboration with the Institute's faculty, and achieving revenue goals and targets.
Please note this position is located in our Midtown Center, 11 W. 42nd Street.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in real estate, business or related field
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in a related field such as business or real estate
Required Experience: 5+ years managerial experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience in higher education administering and marketing programs, supervising staff and developing and managing budgets.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated effectiveness in leading the development and delivery of market responsive educational programs; proven ability to work collaboratively to effect change and meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $60,000.00 to USD $110,000.00.
