The Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions is responsible for the implementation of all sports marketing initiatives for Idaho State University’s 13 Division I sport programs. This position is also responsible for the design and execution of each sport’s marketing plan, game-day activities, social media initiatives and promotions. This position will also assist in the execution of sponsorship agreements during games and throughout the year.
- Bachelor’s degree - 1 - 3 years experience - Ability to work nights and weekends - Excellent verbal and written skills Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree - Graphic design experience
- Oversee all sports marketing initiatives - Create and execute marketing plans for each of Idaho State’s sports teams - Fluent in Adobe computer programs (Indesign, Photoshop, Premier) - Be part of a team that will build Idaho State’s following on social media - Design all marketing materials for each Idaho State program - Oversee sports marketing staff - Create a desirable gameday experience - Direct and organize gameday activities - Ensure that promotions are being fulfilled on social media and on game-days
