Hocking Hills Tourism Association (HHTA) is seeking an experienced social media professional to become our new Social Media Manager. We are seeking someone creative, organized, experienced with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and CMS. Experience with Umbraco is preferred. DMO/CVB experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the full-time online community manager for Explore Hocking Hills’ social platforms.
Collaborates with Director, Public Relations and Digital Agencies, as well as members, to develop creative content, analyze engagement and increase the destination's social media community.
Plans and executes engagement programs that result in user generated content for social media platforms as well as ExploreHockingHills.com
Collaborates and creates compelling social media content, including multi-media materials and video.
Participates in and leads regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success, ranging from Twitter chats, Facebook promotions, giveaways, etc.
Monitors and responds to posts and inquiries in a timely manner.
Remains abreast of latest social media trends and tools to keep HHTA on the cutting edge of content delivery and measurement.
Development of social media training content to benefit HHTA members.
Attends various events including press events, local press tours, influencer visits, as needed.
