Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Recreation Management & Physical Education (RMPE) in the Beaver College of Health Sciences (BCHS) at Appalachian State University invites applications for a one-year full-time, lecture faculty position teaching a 4/4 in the Recreation Management (RM) program to begin August 2020. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring students, participating in university and professional service, and support interprofessional student engagement activities.
Ability and willingness to teach online courses.
Special consideration will be given to candidates who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, and have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion to improve access to higher education for under-represented groups.
