Reporting to the Sr. Director, Partner Engagement, the role of the Sr. Manager, Partner Engagement is to maximize partner participation in Brand USA cooperative marketing programs, which help meet organizational goals for cash contributions. This successful candidate can be based in our Washington, DC office or in one of the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, or Utah. These contributions unlock marketing resources that allow Brand USA to fulfill its mission of increasing international visitation to the United States. The Sr. Manager, Partner Engagement is responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with Brand USA partners within an assigned geographic territory, and works in conjunction with Brand USA Partner Programs, Partner Marketing Planning, Consumer Marketing, Global Trade and Operations teams to ensure the seamless execution and maintenance of programs as they relate to our partners. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Work with DMO partners to achieve annual cash and revenue contribution targets. Increase revenue within the assigned geographic region and responsible for securing multi-million dollar partnerships
- Manage LOA (letter of agreement) process and revenue
- Serve as the primary contact and liaison between assigned partners, prospects and Brand USA program vendors as it relates to partner sales and account maintenance
- Coordinate the execution of marketing partnerships with cash contributions to Brand USA within the assigned territory
- Work with partner’s media agencies to develop global advertising and marketing campaigns
- Manage strategic partner accounts on a regional basis, and identifying and developing these relationships
- Assist in the on-going development of new partner solutions, and in the improvement of existing partnership programs
- Build alliances with destination marketing organizations, convention and visitor bureaus and private sector partners to leverage resources and create value for their stakeholders
- Work in partnership with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve program objectives and targeted partnership goals
- Work to achieve partnership renewal targets via proactive Partner management and providing exceptional customer service
- Accurately report and provide status updates and required metrics to leadership and internal data coordinators via regular reporting and implemented customer relationship management tools
- Follow Brand USA’s procurement compliance procedures to process media contracts in a timely manner
- Ensure payment of partnership contracts are approved with media proof of performance and results
- Work in conjunction with the partner marketing planning team to provide summary reports of major partnerships annually
- Respond to a variety of partner related requests and projects
