The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce/Visitor & Convention Bureau is a five-star accredited chamber whose mission is to advance the common interests of our membership, stimulate the expanding regional economy and enhance the quality of life for all. The Chamber strives to provide value to its over 1600 members through multiple touch points and opportunities.
In efforts to continue our mission and ensure value, we are looking for a full-time Multi-media Sales Manager to drive sales across a full suite of digital and print platforms and solutions.
We are seeking candidates who have experience and skills in generating business across our print, digital and social marketing platforms, as a primary focus.
Reporting to the Vice President of the Visitor & Convention Bureau, this position will support existing platforms and services, and collaborate on new business opportunities to ensure member product offerings are relevant and of value. The ideal candidate will have a record of driving revenue within this business segment, have the ability to cross collaborate and communicate, is relationship driven, team oriented, forward-thinking, have a high work ethic and has effective communication skills.
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
Responsible for selling the value of traditional digital products as a compliment to our robust, and ever growing, digital marketing offerings; including, but not limited to, website, social media, and digital marketing.
Member account penetration across all aspects of the business to include marketing, sales, market research, etc., with the goal of developing strong business relationships and results with members.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build internal and member relationships and foster collaboration.
Delivers valuable results to members, ensuring regular reporting and communication of performance.
Works directly with digital team to effectively deliver reports, value solutions, tracks results and communicate performance to members to ensure member value and retention.
Drives new business opportunities and innovative solutions to our members by working collaboratively with our digital and print teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively, and engage leadership and staff within the organization.
Must have experience selling the value of print, direct marketing, including social media management, web development, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, etc.
Expectation to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Chamber mission, products offerings, platforms and services.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales; digital market
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience in a related field.
Strong understanding of and familiarity with major social and digital platforms.
Requires a strong knowledge of digital advertising revenue models (CPC).
Full knowledge of MS Office required including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Google analytics and DFP ad experience a plus.
Excellent business development and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strategic thinker with ability to implement strategies and deliver results.
Positive and strong work ethic and proven track record success in digital sales
Must have strong financial acumen.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
