The Marketing Coordinator is a part-time position that will work a minimum of 15 hours per week to assist the Marketing Department in project managing and trafficking all aspects of production related to the master communications calendar inclusive of the coordination of collateral development (internally and externally), campaign implementation, copy writing and editing, data tracking, maintaining promotional materials inventory, planning meetings, trade show activations, maintaining necessary databases and preparing reports.
JOB RELATIONSHIPS Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Manages vendors, works across departments internally for all production coordination. Member of: Marketing Department
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Assist with all coordination of print and digital communications, including website, new media, direct marketing, public relations, media partnerships, online marketing, event marketing and internal creative services.
Maintain and track internal Master Marketing Production Calendar to track and schedule all production needs from start to delivery.
Assist with marketing and communication campaigns by assembling and preparing necessary marketing assets (text, images, graphics, etc.) and creative/assignment briefs.
Assist with editing and writing for various collateral materials such as membership kits, promotional brochures and event programs.
Assist with editing and updating web content.
Assist with research as needed, to support marketing campaign preparation and post reporting.
Track promotional materials by coordinating requirements with vendors; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Support marketing staff by gathering internal marketing services requests.
Coordinate (in collaboration with other departments) meeting and trade show activation by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists, etc.
Liaison with external production vendors for project estimates, material submission and approval tracking.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required
1-2+ years' experience. Hospitality or direct destination marketing experience a plus
Experience in project management coordination, creative production trafficking and client service
Excellent written, editorial, and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and computer skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to unforeseen circumstances
Attention to process improvement and detail, displays initiative skills
Must be highly adaptable to new information
