The Video Board Coordinator will collaborate with internal and external entities to produce engaging streamed and on-demand video content for UK Athletics.com and SEC Digital Network enhancing the in-venue experience and streamed sports broadcast shows. Duties include but not limited to: conceptualizing, edit and producing individual and team introduction content for video board shows; maintains video game content archives; edits quality video elements for special events and motivational/promotional/recruiting purposes (i.e. The Catspy Awards, UK Hall of Fame Introduction, Big Blue Madness, etc); manages and teaches student staff on video board production and oversees student staff web streams for SEC Digital Network; produces/directs streamed SEC Digital Network school funded shows; creates animated graphic content for both ribbon and video boards; and works in conjunction with SEC Network Director/Producer to produce pregame content.
This position will require the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of demonstrated video board production (writing, shooting and editing) with experience in a sports-related industry preferred. Qualified applicants must be proficient in Daktronics video board equipment/software and Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, 3D Studio Max and be familiar with high definition and DSLR camera.
Flexibility to travel and willingness to work weekends and evenings. Must comply with NCAA, SEC and University rules, regulations and policies.
