Soccer Domain Football Club (“SDFC”) seeks a motivated, inspiring and dedicated individual to become the club’s Director of Coaching and Player Development (the “DOC”). The candidate should have an exceptional skill set, a “development first” philosophy and the ability to work well with a team of people.
Further develop and implement a comprehensive player and coach development program for our premier Boys & Girls teams.
Retain, recruit and lead top-level premier coaches.
Lead coaching educational training sessions for premier coaches.
Work with the Board of Directors to formulate and implement a strategic plan for SDFC.
Attend practices and games for each premier team throughout the year to provide assistance, feedback and advice.
Coordinate and run skills clinics for the development of players.
Represent SDFC to the soccer community to advance SDFC’s reputation and standing.
Attend monthly Board Meetings, communicate with Board Members and advise on all soccer issues.
Run the premier program’s day to day soccer operations.
Head Coach for two teams within the club.
USSF A or B license or NSCAA Premier or equivalent is required. NSCAA DOC Diploma is desirable.
Professional or college level playing experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
At least 5 years’ experience coaching youth soccer is required. Previous experience in a DOC or assistant DOC role is strongly preferred.
Coaching education experience at the national, state or local level is desirable.
Knowledge of the college recruitment systems and processes at the Div. I, II and III level is preferred.

Soccer Domain Football Club (SDFC) was established in 2009 in New Jersey, for the specific purpose of developing a competitive youth soccer program whose goals are to develop players and teams that can compete at state, regional, and national levels. The realization of these goals will be accomplished within the proper framework of developing character traits such as self-esteem, confidence, leade...rship and sportsmanship.
Achievement of these objectives will be reached through the mature behavior, high level of training and exemplary conduct of the coaches, parents, and officials of the Club
The SDFC program aspires to create an environment within which:
1) Players will be given the opportunity to learn the sport of soccer through the development of individual skills, fitness, teamwork, and fair play.
2)Players will reach their maximum potential as individuals and athletes through coaching, competition, friendships, and commitment - to themselves, their teammates, and the game of soccer.
